so the bridged internet, does the VM have to be powerd on to use? or can the vm be shutdown answer soon plzz

@taluzoid What I was doing is NOT a VM (or Virtual Machine), I was installing it on another partition. Anyway, your question was a bit vague. Was your concern about using internet inside the VM or on the host machine? Also, to add on your previous comment, I couldnt use my Wireless-G card because at the time, there was no driver or support to use this card on 10.5.6.

@DarnellAndries i mean, since you used vmware fusion and bridged the pda net connection to the host, does VMware Fusion have to be open in order for the host to have an internet connection I DO realize it was on a second partiton it was a misunderstanding

@taluzoid My bad, and yes, it needs to be open to use bridge the connection from pdanet.
