That's right, only reason why they were stopped. They didn't even get a ticket!!...I carry my camera where ever I go, today I was making sure these cops were not gonna get their way with these Mexican guys, remember Rodney? Be surprised.

The fact that we allow this sort of behaviour from the police, and consider it "normal" will only make us more and more used to their increasing wrongful doings, the generations following ours will be "just fine" with abusive and corrupt law enforcement agencies, and this must NOT be permitted. There are laws against it. "ABUSE OF POWER" DOES NOT ALWAYS INVOLVE A BEATING.

@jesuschrististhebest Jesus Christ IS the BEST...but put The Holy Bible down for a second and read some history books as well. Jesus won't get mad. I recommend Howard Zinn, who said "TO BE HOPEFUL in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness" I am sure JC would agree.

What the video poster doesn't seem to understand is that if a citizen called in about these guys acting suspicious, cops are obligated to respond and investigate. If it's a large group they will detain the people as a safety procedure. I saw no physical abuse during this. Also, there is no context to the video that may explain probable cause (or lack of it) to search. Once the scene has been investigated and they find that no crime has been committed, they let them go. A random stop is different

People in America have a constitutional right not to be unreasonably searched and detained just on a hunch (example: They LOOK like street trash). Say I'm a cop and I think you LOOK like a child molester, I have no proof but I THINK you are. Do I have the right to stop you and detain and search you?
