How brilliant that this is here - I have it on VHS however was so entranced that I missed pressing 'play' at the start of about Part Three - am now watching to see, what did I miss, when I was a 5th grader, taping this show for my Dad... thank you!!

Somebody has been watching "Ivan the Terrible" by Eisenstein very closely.

its a moisin-nagant with a fake flintlock attached to the side...the reason it was probably used was because flintlocks misfire about 20% of the time, and a movie company cannot afford to refilm hundreds of people because of a misfire...most of the hollywood films use phony flintlocks of this sort but they look a little more realistic

A strelets with a XX century rifle Moisin-Nagant at 6:40 ??? LOL They could have used muskeets from other Western movies on Modern Era.
Peter's uncle and his relatives were killed by being thrown off the balcony onto pikes, not being carried down stairs and stabbed on the ground.
