At the very least one of the black belts helped by pushing the board into the rushing child. Still.. I'd hate to have my students embarrassed this much. Board breaking used to be a demonstration of focus and mind over matter, with no punches ending in a shaky fist or bit lips. Now I'm afraid people have reduced it to a parlor trick and humiliating experience for those who can't do it correctly.
