PUPIL, with guitarist and frontman Ely Buendia, lead guitarist Yan Yuzon, bassist Dok Sergio and drummer Wendell Garcia, release their latest single from Limiters of the Infinity Pool: "20/20".
After their first two albums, Beautiful Machines (2005) and Wildlife (2007), Limiters of the Infinity Pool represents a sound that is more complex. With a deep, grounded melodic sensibility, Pupil walks the fine line between experimentation and tradition. The new tracks are strikingly unconventional, reinforcing the band's attitude against the limits of specific genres or labels.
Following the first singles "Distortion", and "TNT", "20/20", featuring Francis Reyes on guitar, and Amanda Ling on keys and with lyrical references to The Creation, is sure to be heralded as one of the album's highlights with funky club beats seemingly ready-made for the dance floor.
