no need for this at all. as long as you have decent lighting and substrate your fine.
this gives people new to the hobby a miss guiding impression about growing aquatic plants :/

I don't think this is overpriced.Their co2 kits are some of the cheapest out there.And the gravel heater is also a good thing,cuz i've seen how dramatically it improves plant growth.

@Luke19695 all of them all at once? Heaps I reckon. Over $100. Depends where you live. If you join an aquarium forum, sometimes you can ask for cheap, trade or free plants+ delivery.

Wow, i litteraly have 1 flourecent bulb and some Fertilizer tabs and my plants grow out of control

talk about Hi tech. all i use in my aquarium is plant food. in conjunction with lighting left on for 8 hrs and good water quality. and they are growing really well.

total waste of money. if you understand the principles of keeping planted aquariums, you will have a healthy aquarium at a low cost
