@milena577 No jasne , proponujecz disko-polo? ;-))

Très contemporain, pourtant fidèle. C'est vraiment frappant à a quel point une grande partie de la musique du Chopin dépasse les époques! - Bravo Rafal!
-
Bo to jest muzyka koncertowa a nie muzyka do tańców towarzyskich
-
@kamil3546 I don't think so either... The guy REALLY owns this...

Until I heard this I thought that Kissin has the best interpretation of this waltz but to me Blechacz's is ideal. Just listen to the start of the first B section... Amazing overall control, outstanding rubato, otherworldly accelerando... simply breathtaking...
-
sounds somewhat mannered -- extra hesitations accents accelarandi...

Why wouldn't it be permissible? Hopefully you're not speaking of etiquette, as a non-flash/lighted camera is not disruptive to the artist in this setting. Unless the venue and/or artist requested no cameras, in my opinion, the audio and video from every performance should be recorded for non-commercial archival purposes. Otherwise, how can future generations embrace these performances?

Amazing! I love this waltz. And Rafal is my favorite pianist
-
@lsbrother yep, you're right, but we can talk about the quality.

@sweetnessglyc
hehe...well lets leave god out of this.
altough i have to tell you, that is one of the perks of living in paris, is that you get to see stuff like this at least 2 or 3 times a year. This time was particularly special. it ws Rafals FIRST concert in paris, he did the 24 preludes, and it truly was something i've not experienced too often.

well its a very subjective thing. its a question of interpretation. A lot of people like Argerich, or Pollini, but that doesnt mean its 'the best'. at the level of technique all these guys are on an even par, at least for chopin, so it boils down to your taste and opinion on their interpretation
