It would be a sad reason if EU's main goal was too become a superpower .. The main reason of EU is to advance and cooperate in Science and Progress. It would be sad if the focus of the Eu empire was too promote domination.

Are we not allowed to have democracy to voice our opinions and rights, there is nothing wrong with being anti- the eu but merely trading in it and maintaining your own laws and culture and ensuring british jobs for british people as in any other country first and formost.

@XxUlTiMATESHAGUARxX Yeah well you forgot one thing. in ww2 Germany tried to conquer most of the Europe. Today that wouldn't happen because Germany is in EU but Germany and France made EU and they are on middle of the Europe so of course all power would go in France, Germany and maybe Britain. Btw maybe Norway isn't joining in EU because German occupied Norway and they don't want to join on the same union what their old enemy made, or then Norwegians just don't want to give money for Greece :D

@XxUlTiMATESHAGUARxX Hope for no corruptin? Brother, there is an annual dissapearance of 4 billion dollars in the EU. The EU expenditure books have not been signed of for 15 years, meaning that nobody knows where exactly all the EU budget has been spent. The corruption in the EU has been going on since it's very inception.

@XxUlTiMATESHAGUARxX We citizens of europe are not allowed to pick the president of europe. Barrosso and van rompuy were selected in secret meetings by people who we dont even know. This is highly undemocratic and dangerous because anybody can be placed as eu president

@XxUlTiMATESHAGUARxX Nato has stopped european nations from fighting each other not the EU. The EU is only created to serve as an empire building force in europe. After that, the EU will become the cause of wars on a gigantic scale just like the US has caused many wars since it became the global superpower. The only difference is that the EU politicians are very focused on proving the EU to be the global policing force of the world & so will be much more belligerant and war hungry.
