@cain2335 i think federer will fare well on fast courts...
-
@reviseyourdemise you think those are fast? go watch some of the 1996 atp championships. there are matches of it on here. you'll see what a fast court is, not like that shitty O2 in london
-
@cain2335 dude what about basel lol and other indoor courts...
-
@reviseyourdemise federer has never won a slam on a fast court like this. he won wimbledon in 2003 after it was called "green clay" in 2002

i was born in 1989 and agassi was my only tennis hero and he still is one of them :)

@splendid1000 it's just the competition like nadal and others make it boring... seriously, federer might be the most complete tennis player of all time and the volleyer nowadays can't compare to the 90's era when every court was running pretty fast! the slow courts gives advantage to weak baseliners like nadal and i hate how tennis had slowed down during the years even when federer was in his prime he should of won wayyy more games than the boring ass players... :P

Exactly. Fed would win almost all of them and some big hitters like Del Potro, Safin, Blake, Berdych and even Soderling would have a few too. We would also see a lot of serve & volley like we saw in the 90's when there was actual variety in game play ... Federer is a great serve & volleyer too by the way. Tennis sux now.

@splendid1000 if they were faster... no doubt federer should win like 80 - 90% of the slams because he plays very well on fast courts! :p
-
Such a shame they had to slow down the US Open and Wimbledon courts so that weak baseliners like Nadal would have a chance to win. All 4 slams are played on clay now.
