Re Jackie O and the baby incident. Every parent especially if like me, they still have infants, knows the way a baby curls his spine to enable the mother/father to comfortably hold them one handed while so as to enable them to perform tasks with the other. A: the baby and mom are instinctively comfortable in baby's abilitiy not to squirm and to conform to the upward hand pressure from mom and B: in the event of potential fall, mum will drop everything except the bundle (esp. an entertainer JO.
