Red Hot Chili Peppers - This Is The Place (Rehearsal Demo)

A rare demo recording of This Is The Place from 2001. These tapes were used to aid Anthony Kiedis with his vocal timing. As with all these demos, they aren't anywhere close to being final mixes and haven't been processed or mastered in any way, thus the vocals are significantly quieter than the instrumental tracks.

i love listening to demos. They sound so like, unfixed and somewhat real. Sometimes the cd version edition and the live edition are really different. I also love the little extra sounds anthony makes in the demos, "ding dong de do de do" XD

@CiGuitar in the time of his addiction john brought 2 albums on the market: niandra lades and usually just a T-shirt and smile from the streets you hold.

in those albums he experiments a lot with different styles and instruments.

even though it was very sad what the drugs did to him he became more open to different styles and i believe thats what makes him such a great guitar player and person.

i love this song, i love this album. i think its funny how every last inch of it has johns prints all over it. mabye thats why its so bad ass, cause john took the lead.
