  • yeah, i think i'll stick with my $7.99 tie downs.

  • @HuntingOz

haha You pretty much took the words right out of my mouth lol

  • Seems overly complex and I believe you used 50' of cordage to tie that in. I appreciate the fact that it's a demonstration, but I have trouble imagining myself using such a complicated and resource-heavy method.

  • Nice vid and handy knot thanks. I have the same Salomon shoes too, great aren't they.

  • Great job Bryan. Definitely keep this one in the brain for the just in case scenario. Stay safe out there!

  • Most of you who are complaining are missing the point of the video - What if you don't have ratchet straps but still need to secure something?

  • I usually like your vids but this was a total waste of 7:24 that I will never get back

I mean come on,who will ever use that to tie anything down when you can just throw a rope over with a truckie hitch and be on the road in seconds.

35 foot of rope to tie a plastic box down, how long do you spend undoing it.

  • love those salomon shoes dude!

  • With a couple of ratchet straps or even 2 ropes, I would have had it strapped down and gone at about 2:15 mark!

  • That knot never looks quite finished to me. I'd be inclined to continue running it from the driver's side rear, through the left side of the diamond, back to the driver's side front to tie it off.
