  • In my oppinion, you are reffering to a zweihänder here and not a longsword. As I can see from the style of fighting the sparring replacement for the sword doesn't reflect the weight that a sword of that size would have. Even the glave looks pretty light since you can swing it that high without a problem. Normally if you stand with your sword against a glave you would take your sword into halb-schwert, especially when you have such a long sword. Keep on practising guys...

  • noobs

  • @soleil1326 That appears to be rattan. Which is fairly weighty. And they are fully armored. Which is slows you some as well. Melee combat, is not a kung fu movie.

  • With that kind of length it is more of a true zweihaender. and both guys suck at fighting. Also, they are really slow.

  • the guy with the "sword" is holding that wrong

  • @wristbrace Fyi, unless your using D&D terminology, A longsword is longer than a bastardsword.

  • @wristbrace Not much difference between a great sword and a claymore. I believe the term "great sword" is more like a category than an actual weapon.

  • @lilpwn It looks like a claymore to me. But, if it IS a longsword - its more of a bastard sword.

  • Glaive*

    Just sayin.

  • long sword is it.?... looks like a great sword to me. but i bet you knew that you sly fox you.
