In the beginning of the battle, the Spartans had allies, so it wasn't just them. And please don't think that I get my knowledge from "300".

I claim that they were the best soldiers ever to walk on earth! Not strange since their whole life evolved around war, and preparing for it!

Thermopylae exaggerated? Well yes, a little, if your knowledge is based on the movie "300". But the FACT is that there WERE only 300 spartans in that passing. And that they fought for seven days (three days of actual fighting against a HUGE army of 2-300.000.

@DcAeGaming this is only a small(and optional) part of the gameplay, but yes it is smewhat complicated. this game is one of my favorite strategy game ever and it has LOADS of replay value with all of the separate nations you can play as.
