  • I played in the front ensemble for this show...Please forgive me for rushing the chimes at 1:09. Maybe part of the reason we didn't win percussion ...hhmmmm...

  • @iluvperkushun dude, that's such a small mistake, i wouldn't even point it out if i were you. still, that shows just how committed we were to making that show rock. without divulging my identity, i marched with you that year. sorry the video quality is so bad.

  • is this based off of spin cycle by scott lindroth? i think thats right...

  • @sportikus137

nah, it's all original material by dick saucedo, bret kuhn, and eric johnson.

  • curious, what mf stand for in your comment? @packatac10

  • @luckyoneTK: the guy's screen name is mf205. i was directing my comment toward him, and i abbreviated his name.

  • BD and the Cavies are both very credible marching corps, so to discredit either of them is just ridiculous. I understand if you're a BD fan, but if you think the Cavies suck so much, than you shouldn't be wasting your time watching videos of them and writing idiotic comments.

  • hey raiders, don't you have anything better to do than to hassle this guy? you speak so "strongly" yet i bet you've never marched in anything other than a poor high school marching band. and yeah, i agree. i think BD is awesome..but you know he's right. the cavaliers have been dominating these last several years. your love for only one corps is causing you to be extremely naive.

  • @iluvperkushun ha, yeah don't worry dude. This is still like my favorite show of all time.

  • @GrundyMad HAHA! I'm glad it's not as noticeable as I thought. i guess I'm my own worst critic. I really only slightly rushed but i remember how much dedication we put into the timing on this book. Timing wise, it was very demanding. I think that's the biggest reason why I'm self conscious about it.

  • @iluvperkushun Okay, not gonna lie, I didn't notice before...but now i do EVERY TIME. It's okay though, just call it an artistic touch.

  • @packatac10 I appreciate it. I understand why you might not want to reveal your identity on youtube....but It is nice to know that a fellow Cavalier is out there looking out for me. =)

  • @mf205 it proves that the activity is getting stronger. Think back on shows in the earl 90's that won 1st place. If those shows were put on the field nowadays they would probably be more like 6th or 7th place shows. That's how much improvement there has been in the activity over the last couple of decades.

  • @mf205 I agree with you. Raiders needs to grow some balls and do drum cors for a summer and see how he makes out. I am a Cavaliers alumni. I marched 2003 (spin cycle). We lost to BD that year but I stilll admire BD for being a great drum corps. Let's face it, if you can beat the Cavies then you must be a REALLY good drum corps.
