Scorching Bass solo by Chris Wyse. This solo was done back in high school when Chris was with East Wall many moons ago. Chris has since played with many high profile rockers including Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), and Ozzy on the Under Cover CD is currently recording and touring with The Cult.

  • ha i would be amazed if any1 could be that good in 2 years, to get down all those techniques in 2 years is inpossible

  • you don't know Chris. improbable, yes, impossible, no.

  • What's worthy about playing like someone else? He is very fast, a very good player, but plays exactly like Billy Sheehan. :(

  • The dude was only 16 years old when this video was made! He has gone on and developed his own style over the years. Give the negative jealous remarks a rest.

  • Yeah, nothing amazing at all, I see 16 year olds all over the place playing like this. LOL! Actually I used to rehearse next to his band in Schenectady NY back in the early 90's. Yes, he sounded an awful lot like Sheehan, but trust me, he was an amazing player back then (guessing about 4-5 years after this vid was taken). I just love people who live to troll around youtube tearing down others. Hilarious.

  • FUCKin AWESOME!!! just when you think it can't get any better IT DOES!!!! behind the Back is HOT!

I remember seeing Chris Play in my hometown of Hudson Falls NY at a converted theater (Tuffco) with East Wall. I was 15 at the time and just started playing bass. I watched Chris play and it completely blew my mind. I was floored to say the least. To be honest it really inspired me to get good at bass. Fast forward to 2011 and now I am making my living as a pro bass guitar player in the Gulf Cost region of the US. Thanks Chris.

  • Mister Strange!

  • Chris is not a Billy Sheehan wannabe!!!!! I grew up with him and I also have hung with Sheehan before he was with Mr. Big and even before David Lee Roth hired Sheehan and Steve Vai. Watch your mouth and CREDENTIALS as well as your abilities "mahalabjpm"!!!!! You seem like the type that would hold a violin like a guitar and start playing it as such. FOOL!!!!!

  • he stole my name!:p
