An interesting martial arts documentary I recorded on VHS back in 2002, when Discovery Channel still was an informative and entertaining channel. There was also a second part about Kung Fu warriors that I unfortunately did not record.

  • And I don't really care for this beats that, this MA suck and this is the best. My dad can kick your dad and all.. When it comes to a real fight, no one can afford to fight within a certain style anyway, you do what is neccesary to survive, implementing the things you have learned when possible.

  • When I first saw this on TV this was my favourite segment, the Ninjutsu part. They seem to have a very varied form form of training, and the master seems very serious and knowledgable, and respectful of the history of his art.

  • @MrNewpants ok cummins

  • @theginjaninja1995155 I couldn't agree more. I've been practicing this martial art since I was six years old and am currently a shodan. I've found that it's had a profound effect on who I am as a person. I has not only given me a strong sense of self control, put also a large amount of confidence in myself.

  • @Arteanor ps. "yes, jumping and running are also taijutsu, there is no link between any martial taijutsu and ninjutsu." aren't you contradicting yourself here?

  • @Arteanor sorry 'sir', but if you would be so kind and actually read my comment before raging. ^^

I'm not talking about literal translation. this conversation is about martial arts not language. taijutsu is the japanese word for any empty handed combat style, you can go ask any japanese person about this if you deem me untrustworthy. jumping and running are not taijutsu like I said, any 'fighting skill'. go check your facts before you start bad mouthing people.

  • @MrNewpants

"taijutsu is the japanese word for any 'empty hand' "

tai means body, jutsu means technique,

how on EARTH did you get "empty hand" ??? ah right, you listen to bullshit and lies, then pretend they are facts... you sir have been misled.

yes, jumping and running are also taijutsu, there is no link between any martial taijutsu and ninjutsu.

only fake schools teach that ninjutsu is martial arts.

  • @maceioninjutsu read below

  • @AmericanSamurai100 taijutsu is the japanese word for any 'empty hand' fighting skill, not necessarily just japanese martial arts. ie. boxing is taijutsu, as is karate and krav maga.

  • im still 8 kyu but i should be 7th kyu by now but unfortunately i got ligament damage for 3 months so i missed a lot of training and a test what about you ?
