Song: New World
Artist: Nas aka Nasir Jones aka Nasty Nas
Album: Nastradamus
Label: Columbia Records

This is my favourite song by Nas.
You may recognize the melody in the background, it is sampled from the song Africa by Toto.

  • Nas is simply one of a kind. People like Nas and Rakim only come around every so often.

The struggle that Nas had to go through throughout his life, nobody would have blamed him if he would have stopped making music after he made his millions.

But he didn't, he still spreads his vision throughout the youth of this country, to enrich their lives.

Its simply a shame people listen to the whack hip-hop artists of today and forget about a man who wants to use his music to better the world.

  • I think kanye got the idea for "Diamonds are Forever" from this song. Thats it.

  • Rappers that spit real talk get dead or silenced.

  • The song reminds me of New Year celebrations

  • The instrumental for this song, my skool had to sing the original version, then I come on here for the first time and here nas kill it, me and my boy are real nas fans, so the fact that there was this version, makes me mad at my teacher for us not doin this instead lol

  • truth is we will be killing each other soon for WATER

  • one of my favz off nastradamus!!
