  • What a gobshite there is no where else to unload u can't get in most car dealers as my dad has driven car transporters for 20 or so years starting off at tolemans now working for fords this guy will end up punched off this bike because he has nothing better to do .

  • @focusfanactic if you look closer you can see the two-transporter lengths of space behind this transporter.

  • YOU KNOB HE'S DOING NOWT WRONG..MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY A DAYS WORK INSTEAD OF PLAYING ON YOUR BIKE

  • @NothernHellBoy

"HE'S DOING NOWT WRONG". He's parked over a dropped kerb and obstructing a cycleway. Illegal.

"HE YOU SHOULD TRY A DAYS WORK". If you earn less that £40K I pay more income tax than your annual salary. I cycle to work as its faster and saves faffing around in the gym. When lorry drivers decide they are more important than me, well, I disagree.

  • @BristolTraffic yes to reverse the cars off the back of the transporter and its not two-transporter lenghs i can see its not just from your video you try and unload one of these .

  • @CaptainKidd2006 aah, but you fail to appreciate the wonderfulness of bristol's new cycling city route and bridge being blocked by a truck full of new cars. In that context, it is as if the M32 end were blocked, and every had to get off their car and push a bit to get on. It's this clash of cultures what we document, as it's so entertaining.

Please search for "brunel ford concorde way" and see the full photoset as well as our commentary condemning whoever it was that sent us the video.

  • @BristolTraffic All the cyclist had to do was go around the truck, and there would be no problem, to compare it too blocking a motorway with a bike is just silly. I just dont see the point in letting simple things like this get to you, its not as if he was hard against the railings that he couldnt even get on the cycle path, he just had to go around, its so simple.

  • @CaptainKidd2006 Spin it around for a sec - what if the cyclist parked his bike blocking the M32 and went for a bacon bap, stopping important people like us in our cars getting to important places like the off licence? I think we'd also be a bit annoyed. This is also meant to be an 'arterial' bike route, the equivalent of motorway but for poor people and tree botherers. Not that I'm condoning the cyclist, he's clearly a deranged ne'er do well

  • @BristolTraffic how was he making it IMPOSSIBLE for you to get onto the new bike lane? you just had to go around him, if this is the worst thing that happend to you that day then think yourself lucky.

  • @CaptainKidd2006 technically he's parked over a dropped kerb and causing an obstruction of a cycle path. So that is not legal. Highway code clause 243. the lack of double yellow lines does not make it legal, only means that enforcement is a police issue. You are however right, it was wrong for the cyclist to harass him merely for making it impossible to get onto the new bike lane.
