@RichieD814 1) Swisher is not great defensively, I will give you that, but the rest of the team is average to above average defensively. Granderson and Gardner are great for speed and defense, and our entire infield is real solid with good speed on the left side. yes, if ONE guy's defense isn't great it is irrelevant.
And what is someone like Ryan Howard worthless too? I mean he isn't good at defense and he isn't a great baserunner. Offense is 10 times more important than defense at the corners

2) Swisher has hit 29 HR's before as a member of the A's. You gonna tell me thats a band box too? By the way MORON, he hit most of his HRs on the road. LOL, look it up.
3) who cares about his baserunning and defense, we have plenty of guys who are fast and good defenders.

Just because you don't know anything about baseball and are the only Yankee fan on the planet that thinks that way does not make it true lol. swisher and damon were EXTREMELY likeable and fan favorites, as was Melky and Matsui, not to mention the "core four".

@RichieD814 he does play defense. Actually look at the stats or watch them play. He has a cannon for an arm and has excellent range. top 5 defensive 2B n baseball easily. and anyone that hits .325 with 25 HR's is a good player moron. YOU are clearly the one that doesn't know anything about baseball.
