Seriously, I have watched this movie many many times and particularly this scene, but just now I noticed that Jack grabs those peanuts (or whatever they are) at 00:52, I have always thought he makes that drinking move for fun

It's interesting that the Bartender never tries to sell the murder to Jack. The Bartender isn't there to make the pitch, he's there to take care of you - it's ironically the care taker that the hotel uses to try and get Jack (who as a father and husband should take care of his family) to "correct" his own family.

Other continuity errors: position of the olives in the martini glass to Jack's right and the amount of light on the back wall. I never notice these things until I do comparison captures.
