    The thing is, you have your phone with you in the car, so what's the point of all this? If anything, cars just need to interface with phones better, not to just get all the features of phones.

    Agreed the driver should focus on driving when driving. But you are not always driving when in the driver seat. So whats wrong with using it when parked. And have the distracting feature like the internet locked when in motion. Or even better, have a screen like what some Land Rovers have. A special viewing filter that won't allow the driver to view certain content while in the drivers seat when the vehicle is in motion. It's really neat.
