  • I went to malta when I was 17. We got on this yellow & white 1950s cummins turbo diesel bus & it sounded like a huge american semi-truck with the loud whoosh from the dump-valve when it was shifting up a gear. It even had the polished chrome stack going up the side wall with a flipper at the top like a lorry. Sickest sounding bus Ive ever been on in my life & it was so f***ing fast too.

  • @crosley72 could be !

  • well if you`re reffering maltese traditional buses then yes they have about a hundred or more left but we have somnething close to 120 low floors and over a hundred plaxtons, dominants, swifts and bristols.

  • I really can't remember what number it was I just remember the bus looking all fancy like 1950s style with a sick turbo-charged cummins engine. It shifted so damn well for a little bus it was probably the quickest bus out of the lot. I also remember Malta has lots of those small yellow Vauxhall coaches that look a lot like a mini Leyland Leopard. Do they still run them?

  • did you know what the number was?

  • good ol` perkins
