A settembre 2010 Mobile A2K ha partecipato al programma di Festivaletteratura 2010 di Mantova con tre seminari, tra i quali Il Maestro disincantato - ripensare l'educazione attraverso la tecnologia, a cura di Chiara Somajni.
Ospiti: Massimo Banzi, interactive designer, docente e creatore di Arduino; Mark Grimes, tra gli organizzatori di Maker Faire Africa.

Mark Grimes è tra i fondatori di Maker Fair Africa. L'obiettivo di Maker Faire Africa è creare uno spazio sul continente africano in cui le innovazioni tecnologiche locali, le invenzioni e le iniziative possano trovare sostegno, diffusione, visibilità fino a diventare oggetti del quotidiano. Allo stesso tempo, Maker Faire Africa si propone di incanalare la creatività nel campo della scienza e della tecnologia, puntando su strategie di fabbricazione e produzione che standardizzano i processi.

Mark Grimes is co-founder of Maker Faire Africa. The aim of a Maker Faire Africa is to create a space on the African continent where Afrigadget-type innovations, inventions and initiatives can be sought, identified, brought to life, supported, amplified and propagated. At the same time, Maker Faire Africa would seek to imbue creative types in science and technology with an appreciation of fabrication and by default manufacturing.
