The transmission of MRSA and other infections among students, including student athletes, can have a substantial impact on a school system. Because MRSA is transmitted through skin contact, student athletes are at a particular high risk-- putting wrestling, football and cheerleading programs in jeopardy.

To help prevent the transmission of infectious disease in athletic departments, Kaivac has developed a quick and effective method of cleaning wrestling mats and other padded surfaces using its No-Touch Cleaning system thats designed to address problems such as MRSA, as well as ring worm, conjunctivitis (commonly known as pink eye) and more.
