This is one of my favourite organ pieces from the turn of the twentieth century.
Wonderful job!

Performance? Excellent. Organ? Characterful. Acoustics? Dreadful. Why can't you yanks do resonance?

Hmm... Maybe I'm wrong about the couplers, but I DO remember the manuals feeling awfully heavy to me! It's definitely the same organ, though :P

@MrBrysonD: Thank you so much for your kind words! This is probably the nicest comment I've ever received on ANY video I've posted! I'm so glad I inspired you to learn this piece! What was the occasion of your performance? Was it a full-length recital? Was any of your performance recorded? I would be most interested to hear/watch it...

@organist1982 Just performed it! This and the Dupre Bminor from the Op 7 No. 3. I must say it was work but well worth the effort! Thank you for your inspiration. I still have heard no one that plays it as well as you. Your technical execution is most inspiring!
Whoa! I'd love to study with you, your performances are always in good taste and of appropriate style. So inspiring!

I've performed Vierne on this organ... this organ is HARD to play - the manuals are heavy when everything is coupled together, and none of the stops were in the "right" place!

I wonder if you're thinking of a different organ, at least as far as the action. On this organ, the couplers are electric, so there's no increase in resistance whatsoever when the couplers are engaged. It didn't feel heavy to me.
