Prometheus

I stole your fire
Saw your desire
Felt your words inspire
Carried away embers
As one who remembers...
Dreams you choose to forget.

  • I do always prefer videos when I can hear you reading the poem, makes it easier to follow. Either way, nice work Peter =]

  • @peebzzz

    You know me...I'm Shy.

    I'll post a talkie tomorrow.

  • Interesting poem. It has a variety of interpretation depending on the relationship to the person.

To hold somebodies dreams, to look after them and never stop believing... that's what this is all about.

  • Peter... just like Peebzzz I would have loved to hear you read this, but, in any case, it is a delightful poem. I always enjoy this kind of references to greek mythology. That was such a rich and vast universe… This poem makes me relate a lover with Prometheus...and...by, association, the loved one with Mount Olympus. I really liked that concept.

  • Sparse and effective, beautifully done..

  • I"d say you fed the fire, that's far from theft! Lovely.

  • Very nice, I like it!!

  • there should be a word in the english language that conveys stolen with noble intent.

    beautiful poem, Peter.

  • I like this film, poem and music. Nice feeling to it.
