This is the Gobi dryer - worlds first on-site food waste to biomass energy system. Tidy Planet's innovative system turns food and organic wastes into fuel pellets in a matter of hours and can easily be located where the waste is produced like at the rear of a supermarket as demonstrated here. The wastes can include packaged materials as you can see from this short video and all the non-organic packaging like plastics and foils are recovered after the drying process and can be recycled. The food wastes and organic packaging like paper and cardboard are dried and powdered and once the drying and cooling process is complete then the organic powder can be converted into biomass fuel pellets on site.
These fuel pellets can then be used to power the drying process and the excess fuel can be bagged for re-sale.
So far we have successfully made biomass fuel pellets from the following wastes: coffee grounds, fast food restaurant wastes, chocolate wastes, food manufacturer wastes including oily breadcrumbs and meat and fish wastes and last but not least dog poo!!
If you'd like to know if we can help you turn your food and organic wastes into fuel, get in touch by calling the food waste experts on 01625 666798 or email us at hello@tidyplanet.co.uk.
