but that whole breeding part was the same thing God did with the israelites cuz he wanted jesus to be born from a good race. God started rascism when he separated his people from the rest. instead of converting the others he didnt let them do that. on the new testament he wanted to convert others but it was too late for that. and no im not an atheist, im a Christian.

@agentc111 Plato was sick? He was trying to imagine the ideal state. He was wrong in this case, not sick. Read the Republic. Btw, many great Christian thinkers attempted to incorporate Platonic (as well as Aristotelian) thought into Christianity - not without complete failure (cf. Plotinus) JC said, "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children... he cannot be my disciple." We don't take this out of context, why Plato?

Excellent example, the "clean slate" The Soviets wiped theirs clean. They also wiped out an entire social class. Land owners were the Russian equivalent to our middle class. Soviet communism murdered 20 million Christians. As far as Plato is concerned, every group thinks they should rule the world.

Plato-some lazy guy who sat around all day thinking about things and THINKS he knows what is best for the world ... and then he actually names others like him who "know best": lawyers and politicians. How apt! How profound! That man was a GENIUS! Goodness, that line of thought sounds vaguely familiar .... and awfully scary. And to think this line of thought is being implemented thousands of years later, well ... that is not only crazy, but true. Nobody has refuted it. SHAME ON US!
