Maple Leaf Rag

This was part of the performance I gave for the opening of the Eclipse Music Center, which I helped to introduce to the Hood River area. While I played other songs, this was the only one that I thought of decent enough quality to upload, and which wasn't repeated in one of my other videos.

It was quite ironic - I was originally going to play this song earlier in the evening, but decided I needed more warm-up with the other songs first. As it so happened, the pedal broke during someone else's performance right before this, and this was the only one of my pieces which could be played without a pedal.

My old piano instructor would rap my knuckles if he heard this, I've become woefully sloppy. My only excuse is that it had hibernated for seven years before I had all of two weeks to dust it off.
