agreed rmc. I would die on that water but I would also think to take something like a Pyranha Burn or LL Jefe. But it may have to do something with the maneuverability of playboats. At these guys skill level it is probably more fun for them to sub under big waves and holes that would surf a creeker. Plus as much as that water is moving they track well enough and its not like you have to paddle to get down the river..... I may be way off but that would be my best guess.

Why are you/they using playboats? I thought your meant to use creekers for big volume rivers.
