I was walking down the street of Tucson toward the Federal Building today to look to see if there would be a memorial for Judge Rolls who was killed in the Tucson Massacre over the weekend. There wasn't one but across the street people had assembled to speak out against the rhetoric that has become violent against undocumented workers. I could sympathize with them as I once experienced firsthand the violence directed against them...
The speaker in the video is Isabel Garcia. She is a Public Defender and Director of Coalición Derechos Humanos. An organization that is fighting for the rights of the children of undocumented workers to become citizens of America and retain their full birth rights.
