DIY projector test setup with LIFI 4000 unit

Just a quick test of the electronics involved. Placed the LIFI 4000 unit far back to prevent damaging the LCD panel. Just wanted to show the stuff in operation. No other optics in place yet. The whole setup is pretty crude, but it's just to show it works.

where can we buy and how much does it cost that LiFi 4000 system? What is difference between lifi 4000 and 40 series? how many lumens does that one produce? thnx

@jbvtr I happened to get lucky and find one on eBay, It's from a rear projection TV. I think the 40 series doesn't come with the whole light engine assembly like this one does. I have no way of testing the lumen output. :(

It is nearly twice as bright as a UHP mercury lamp of the same wattage.
