Our society produces roughly 600,000,000 lbs of gelatin a year using animal skin and bones in order to make gelatinous marshmallows, gummy products such as gummy bears, pill capsules, photographic film, etc. But guess what? Now you can make smores around the campfire without killing pigs and cows! Chicago Soydairy now makes vegan marshmallows... and I can't even tell the difference! You must try them. Mmmm.

  • AWhhh I live in Canada I really hope that I'll find vegan marshmallows. I found out the other day that my shower gel has GELATIN in it, I was so grossed out and I'm not ever going to use it again.

  • Yep, they catch fire and roast just like a normal non-vegan marshmallow. That's the first thing I tried when I had the chance to sample Dandies!

  • ...There's nothing wrong with gelatin.

The process from pig skin, bones, etc to what we buy over the shelf isn't an overnight process

  • your cammera has really good resolution lol

  • I want 'em in Malaysia!! Come2!!

  • after looking for months, i finally found these today... can't wait to try 'em..

  • one of the problems with vegans and vegetarians, is that instead of enjoying the simplicity and tastefulness of fruits and vegetables ONLY, they keep trying to recreate all these fancy unhealthy products with vegan ingredients. We don't need a food market with 10,000 different products. keep it simple, and eat fruits and veggies. they contain everything the body needs
