  • @loganx31580 You're right brah. I just hit 45 & it seemed like it was 2 hours ago when we were getting suited & booted, fresh cuts, smelling good, and the same for the ladies getting ready to hit the clubs. I don't care how much things have changed and always will, there will never be another 70's through 90's era. You danced until the lights came on, got after the females & vice versa. We were to clean & smooth to go to a club LOOKING for a fucking fight unless you really had to. Man i miss it.

  • Interracial Culture has nothing to do with it. People in suits are in charge of today's music and nothing but crap comes out of it. You talk about interracial culture? Talk about the fusion of hip hop & r&b where it's all the same thing. It's 2011, people are talking about R&B making a comeback, how sad is that for a genre like R&B to make a comeback, shouldn't of left.

This has nothing to do with race relations, if anything blame the black artists who continue to agree to put out poor music

  • i miss music like this; music that made sense. When you could go out and dance and have fun, not just shake your ass and try to look as slutty/cute. When boys were dance battling instead of fighting and shooting at a club..smh MUSIC LIKE THIS NEEDS TO COME BACK!!!

  • Gosh Those days were so much fun, I was 11 years old Miss those days.

  • @OneKid4Us I agree with you. If I remember correctly I was in the 11th grade when this came out. I have so many memories with this album,

  • gta san

  • Man! Seems like yesterday is an UNDERSTATEMENT! I must have purchased this cassette tape, then the CDs like 4 times, replacing them due to wear! I was just finishing up high school when this whole Guy album hit, and this brings back just so many memories!

  • whole time it aint never left..you just tried to make headgames.

  • @str8outtatexas1 I love ya like a fried bologna sammich for bringing those memories back...lol dayummm! I remember in L.A. we would get fly as fuck, have our drinks and get ready to kick it! it was cool gettin some coochie on the first night back then..lol and the frat parties..oh man!, the frat parties!! i just hit 46! i wish my nephews knew what it was like back then..STR8 CHILLIN! ya know?

  • @ParticleSon yes I agree, even with rap & hip hop dominating, RnB is so powerful & necessary that it shouldn't have ever left. To me RnB IS music, like Rock, it should never leave. It is a basic blue print of what good music is, meat to the bones. Withstanding Robin Thicke, Neyo, A Keyes, Ant Hamilton, Usher, (old) Beyonce, Mariah, Drake, many of the artists today r seriously crap. Rhianna..Can't sing, write a song, produce, play not 1 instrument! This chic can't even dance, dam!

  • @ParticleSon Man the state of music is piss poor at best. I am in my 30's...read that, in my 30's complaining about the poor quality of music this day. Granted, hip hop will likely NEVER equal to the power and umph of RnB, BUT hip hop is a FAB and GREAT genre of music with much power in itself, yet those in charge of it within the last say 7-8 years have failed in creativity and excellence, UNLIKE the hip hop of the 80's and 90's God it was GLORIOUS!!! Much of hip hop today stinks!
