During early March 2008, Scottish tribute band "The Complete Stone Roses", after filming club scenes at Glasgow's Garage nightclub the previous December, set about to complete filming for "Love Will Tear Us Apart" - Stone love version which was a single release in aid of "Cancer Research UK" and co-produced with original "Joy Division" bassist Peter Hook. This is "behind the scenes" footage shot over the 2 days by "Davie Rees"

The "love will tear us apart - stone love" video could not have been filmed without the invaluable assistance given from the many people who gave up their time to come and help us do this, and could not have been done without the help given in abundance by film and TV production companies in central Scotland who supplied all the neccessary equipment seriously discounted in cost (if not free), so to you all (including all the extras and film crew who worked with us at the Garage shoot) we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts - you're all stars in our eyes


TELL ME MOSES
(a tribute to the stone roses)


With the 20th anniversary of the release of the debut, self titled album "the stone roses" fast approaching (10th August), and with Sony Records planning a special anniversary edition release of this now legendary debut from a UK band, Scottish tribute band "The Complete Stone Roses", (one of the most popular and longest running tribute to the roses' and now celebrating their 10th year in the business) have decided to mark the occasion with the release of a song in tribute to "the stone roses"


Having discussed various options of what to release after their version of "Love Will Tear Us Apart (stone-love version)" hit the stores last year, and on the basis that the "20th anniversary release" was coming up, the decision was taken by the band to release a song that firstly not only pays tribute to the original band, but also, using only song titles from the catalogue of "Stone Roses" songs, making it a worthy tribute,


We are therefore pleased to announce the forthcoming release of TELL ME MOSES from THE COMPLETE STONE ROSES, due out on MONDAY 10TH AUGUST - the same date as the 20th anniversary release hits the shops - and will be a FREE DOWNLOAD for any fan who registers on the bands mailing list at www.stoneroses.net


Mailing list members will get the "single" (including the remix), the "artwork" and "exclusive access to the music video" currently being worked on.
