Ranchu, in my opinion, are the cutest fish! They have a great personality as well! I saw some in a pet store and put my finger to the glass, and the sweet little guy was swimming in place and swimming in place until finally he moved forward to put its little face up against the glass. I fell in love! They are so cute!! They remind me of little chubby children, they are precious!

@petstoreguy12 One is all you can put in a 10 gallon for fancy varieties.

10 gallon per goldfish with 15x filtering gallons per hour per gallon of water.

This will ensure proper filtration and happy fish!

goldrusher can i keep 2 young ranchus in a 10 gallon tank? it said in a book i could keep four in a ten gallon but i think thats a bit too many for a ten gallon

I totally agree, it has the 45 degree arch, beautiful colors and swims well. This fish would do well in any show.
