Why did you do it the difficult way? Couldn't you have just done: 10 (First Scan), Spend a value, 9 (Next Scan), and vuala?

Not with flash games, there is no way you'll get banned unless the game syncs every bit of data with a server every time it changes, which would result in a lot of lag. It is possible and easy to download flash games to play offline, so obviously hacking while disconnected from the internet means you won't get banned. Nevertheless, my example is a game without user account, if you are playing a flash game with user accounts I'd highly discourage attempted hacking.

This is a hack. It's re-configuring the game data in ways not facilitated by the game designer.
