1:03 This scene normally ends with someone realizing Kain is a vampire and calling for help, the Sarafan then bravely run up to the door... and stand around outside as the door is suddenly locked, I just cut it so that you see Kain doing what the guy says instead. The timing is quite good as the camera pans to where the lift is as he mentions it and Kain stealth kills a guard just as the guy mentions them attacking on sight.
3:25 I'm yet to figure out why Kain says this line, what setback is Faustus referring to?
In part one of this Boss fight you can either block the combo to fill Kain's rage bar or quickly interrupt the combo after the third strike, normal attacks will simply be dodged.
Part 2 is exactly as seen here except you need to do it three times.
Part 3 just stand in a corner facing the middle then run around his jump attack when you hear him jump down, rinse and repeat.
6:08 Kain is supposed to gain new dark gifts by draining the blood of his (vampire) enemies but to me this sure look like he's devouring Faustus' soul, I get that they are doing it this way to make it more visually impressive and you can just write it off as being symbolic of Kain taking their gift but it would have made more sense and looked better if he had varied it by biting the neck as he does later with the builder (but with better animation).

It's time I asked - Why the hell does Kain have a parrot perch on his shoulder? Sure it's probably some kind of shoulder guard, possibly even for dangling a cape off of but like this it just looks stupid.

When you watch a guy murder two women then he tries to get through your gate you don't open it even when he comes back moments later suddenly claiming to have a job on the other side. Still at least his idiocy allows me to demonstrate the short sword grab kill. PS, I added Kain's laugh here from when he kills chained prisoners.
