July 2007 we went to Slovenia. We went to Triglav National Park, climbed Triglav mountain ( 2864 m ). After reaching the Mt Triglav Summit and 6 days in the mountains we went down to Bohinj lake. Bohinjsko Jezero is a heavenly place to go when you want to sport and relax. After taking a good shower, eating good and resting for 3 days we went to Ljubljana. This capital city is a calm and beautiful place where we came even more to rest. We finished the trip going to Romania visiting Gabi's parents.

  • how long does it take to get to the top and down again at normal speed

  • @13gamefan

First time we took the long route, through the 7 lake cabine, so we took 2 days to go up, and 1 day to desend.

I went back this year, and going up the Via Alpina took approx 8 hours, starting at the Aljazev Dom. The desend, through the Luknja pass, took about 8 hours ( taking in consideration the muscle pain, which was totally worth it)

Triglav mountain is pretty much the most amazing mountain I've been to til now. Word

  • @gabrielahossu hmmm soo it takes 8 hours to get up, think i am going to climb it this year by the way is it hard ?

  • @13gamefan

Good on you ! Well, it's not easy, but the difficulty level really depends on the route you choose. As far as I know, through Vodnikov Dom is the shortest and least difficult ascend. Most beautiful and challenging through Luknja pass, as it's a route on ridges, with a lot of climbing involved - don't forget to take along a climbing helmet and a via ferrata kit would be recommended as well, specially through the Luknja pass.

    Enjoy

  • @gabrielahossu well i dont have thoose stuff but is it posimble to klimp whit your hands and legs on one of the route

  • @13gamefan

sure it is. A helmet is still really recommended, as there are many people and stone may easily fall

  • very nice video.....I like it ;)

  • That's bullshit...what do you think Triglav is? concentration camp? If you got those information about 50 years ago, when there was truly no fence/wire, then ok...but this is 21.century, nobody died climbing Triglav..except for a few accidents, which occured during an Czech expedition on this mountain...we had to save them, because they didn't have the right equipment :D

    NICE VIDEO 5/5
