it's been proven overseas that confiscation doesn't work. permanent confiscation is the worst because the great financial loss pushes the people into lower socio-economic brackets which in combination with the influence this has on their attitude towards the governing bodies, statistically makes them more likely to commit other crimes and be disadvantaged in ways that make the punishment far worse for society than the "hooning".

idiotic australia, lets fine, and auction the cars off, BUT MAKE DAMN SURE theres no other alternative, no open racetracks to the public, so that these people are FORCED onto the streets. or unless you have 10,000$ plus to spend to book a corporate day, or can be bothered wasting time with some auto club fees, signup, membership only for 1-2 days of racetrack per year.this place is going downhill

Instead of making out that its "dangerous modification" and "idiots" why dont they think if they have nowhere to go it WILL force it onto the street whats the harm in putting a big concrete pad somewhere for skids then its a controled environment is it not?? build a track a strip anything otherwise it will stay on the street and you wont have hoons or street racers you will have a bunch of hoodlems and thats all!!
