It's a weird move for Glenn Beck to ask Tea Partiers to lose the signs and wardrobe. The homemade costume-y thing that makes them seem like a white supremacist Burning Man event isn't the problem with the Tea Parties--more like the whole of their charm.

But in any case, Republicans own it. GOP, meet your new brand ambassadors. They're angry, demonstrative, and won't take "that makes sense as neither policy nor theater" as an answer. Good luck with that.

@TheLogicOfMe thats the thing, conservatives like the tea party believe that constitution should be taken literally. that's actually what has divided the supreme court when you have "liberal" judges who follow the interpretation you described and then you have the "conservative" wing which believes in the literal constitution

What the tea party people have to realize is that what the founding fathers REALLY wanted was for the constitution to change, to be a live document. That's why they put the Legislative branch to create new laws, and the Judicial branch to review legality.
