  • Our children need this for their propper education. Adults need to this for our re education. Lesson: There is nothing new under the sun --That which we do has already been done. The Past Present and Future are One!! Can I get a witness!!!

  • Well, the original is nice, and the other version on here to Count Basie, but after watching them all over and over, to me, this dance scene was MADE for THIS SONG!

  • I dont understand why anyone would delete the original music from this scene. It was made for it and adds greatly to the pizzazz of the dancers.

  • Does anyone know how these talented dancers were found and how long this scene took to develop and then have filmed? Who was the choreographer (sp)?

  • I see lots of Afro-american hoppers in the 40s footages unlike today. It seems they ruled at their times.

  • Videos like this make me wonder if partnered bboying is possible. It's definitely possible to lead/follow a fast dance like Charleston, so it shouldn't be too hard to transfer the lead/follow techniques from charleston to toprock... right?

  • Would the USA win a GOLD for this today,;<D...MEGA-HIP !

  • Wow. The fabulous music originally recorded for this film is replaced with a (c) rap recording for this video? Honey, please Y-T some of the old classics of the swing era and you'll bein for a treat.

I hope this came out non offensively, as I meant no harm. Just wanted to offer you a treat in the way of a buried treasure (swing music). It's still alive and kicking it's heals as high as these fabuloue dancers and musicians. Enjoy and God Bless!
