Many people think that enlightenment is a supernatural state of union with God. This is a misconception.

Enlightenment is a natural state whereby the person enjoys natural life to the fullest. It is not mystical union with the God who created Heaven and Earth.

In Hinduism people have a different conception about God, they consider nature to be God, that is why enlightenment is called "God realisation". In reality it has nothing to do with the God of the Bible.

Many paths to enlightenment are there, this can be one. Remember, you are also unique, one's means might not reach to the same end for all, nor at the same speed.

Too much effort in being best, being the fastest, the most intelligent, the most stress resistant has been weighed down on the people. For you these should not matter, the only thing that matters is to know that you are, and all is as it should be. You are free to move in your life, without and/or within.

Like Christian TV evangelists yogic Gurus get rich ,have huge cult followings and all kinds of perks of thousands of followers treating them like god incarnate . The are trapings and temptations and corruption pitfalls every Guru will face .

When the master dies, we are left with his lineage's level of realization, which may not at all represent the level of enlightenment it first started with.

Though, certainly, would a yogi fall into pejorative statements? Would you not first take responsibility for your unyogic-states before pointing a finger at others?

To my humble observation, a yogi addresses the flaws of others only in a selfless, unemotional, compassion - an act of evolution, not one of personal disagreement.
