This game had pretty good Co-op multiplayer for the SNES era. If you had the controller, you had a hobbit to play. It was damn hard to hit those fast moving wolves with tiny, little daggers though.

i actually played this game a lot way back when, i got to moria but couldn't figure out anything past that, plus i dont think legolas can actually fire any arrows or attack, or i didn't figure out how.

It was about 7 years ago when I came across an SNES emulator, found this game again, and recorded all the music. Where was the youtube link, back then. LOL. Thanks for posting. After all these years, I still have every note and change memorized...

ooo i LOVE this game. its not as bad as people said. I waited for years for volume 2 to come out but it never did.. I have loved Lord of the Rings since i was a kid, this game and the books started it.. im 24 now... still love it :) such a familar little tune. makes me smile

I knew about this game!!!!! We had it, and the music was the best game music I've ever heard, in some cases. To this very day I still frequently play those songs on my irish whistle.

@itirnitii I think there is more than one PC version for DOS....not entirely sure, but I know this is a conversion to SNES.
