Kai - Inch Close

This is a track from my second mashup concept album, 'A Quick Detour'.

"Like it's predecessor 'Media Particles', 'A Quick Detour' contains new and original mashups, fused and blended together by all manner of sampled sounds from around the wide world of media - both visual and audible. The difference with this one is that it is less chilled, more upbeat (for the majority of the album) and hopefully a little more comical. There is no particular story; more of a strange look at some kind of "abstract journey" of sorts. The mashups are all new, original and have been created over a span of 2 years (in range). From The Strokes accompanied by The B52s, to Air blended with vocals by the Super Furry Animals, as well as The Clash being given a gospel touch and James Blunt revisited in rock..."
