The Tschaikowski Academy of Music in Moscow is the most well-known training school in the country. It was founded by the brother of famous pianist Artur Rubinstein. Tschaikowski taught the Theory of Music and Harmonics there for many years. He wasn't the only famous musician to pass through their doors. The school also produced Sergej Rachmaninow, Alexander Skjabin, Mstislaw Rostropovitsch and Gidon Kremer. We met talented 21 year old pianist Andrej Korobejnikov, who played concerts in Europe and the US whilst he was still studying. We also have the pleasure of talking to Nikolaj Luganskij another young star who studied at the Academy.
