Locked myself in my studio on labor day and wrote some new tunes using just my radikal technologies spectralis and elektron monomachine.

For some reason youtube was being retarded when I uploaded this and it would not let me put the whole file online, so if you want to see the longer 10min version, check out www.n3wt.net

  • thank you sansei. I really appreciate it... I'm running a tetra4 / MPC2500 / Spectralis2... focusing on the spectalis for now... midi sync is the direction though. Love your work!

  • @MrBoxxed Sounds like a killer combination, hope to see some videos up soon ;-)

  • Hello....I.m spending timewith my spectralis....AWESOME

also reading and researching like this...thanks youtube.

Do u have a midi sync running between your electron and speci?

Inoticed that actions on your electron make a reaction on the spectralis...

  • @MrBoxxed

I have the Yamaha rs7000 in the corner of the video controlling the sync between all the units.

It goes from Rs7k out, to Speck in, thru to monomachine in.

So they are sync'd, though not controlling anything on eachother

  • how have you found the spectralis and elektron?

I have just got a spectralis but perhaps it should have been electrons (x2)...

just thought id ask as you are using both....

  • @MrBoxxed I like them both for different thing, I find the elektrons a lot faster to write parts with, though the spectralis has a lot more options with what it can do and is a lot more flexible.

Spend a lot of time with your spectralis, it will take a while to learn it in and out, but its worth it in the long run.

  • hay,

just an update... no vd's yet... getting there soon!

I sold the tetra - lack of interface control.

I'm still getting to know my spectralis2...ami slow or what!

Just about to order a vermona pkm2.

Once i get the two rolling ecpect to see something up...

    still love this track

  • @n3wt15 Thanks man... I just love the sounds that come Spectralis..warm

Elektrons sound a little clinical - yep time will be the friend between the spectralis and I!!!

  • Good stuff n3wt15!

  • @1430sl The spectralis has a bit of a learning curve, but once you overcome it, it will blow your mind!
