@squidgelet10 i reckon they were probably very rare if they existed in japan. i'm just a kid though, so i don't know. i wondered if the music had a more definite name, like "waltz" etc, so i could find more, but i will certainly look for records of theatre music from the early part of the century. thank you.

Am I correct in think that this is the organ featured on Brian Sharp's "Wurlitzer Wonderland" LP on Grosvenor [c.1976] when it was still in Dormston House?

I would also like to know the age. In Wenatchee, WA we have a Wurlitzer from 1919 -- a lovely sounding and fun to play instrument.

@pce81z Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Thanks. Organs of this type (Wurlitzer) were originally used in early cinemas to accompany silent films, and were known as cinema organs in UK and theatre/theater organs in USA where they originated. I'm not sure if there were/are any in Japan. Perhaps you can tell me? This music is "cinema/theater-style", usually lighter than classical style.
The organ seen here arrived in UK in 1924 for the "Picture House" cinema in Walsall. Google "Beerwurly" for more.
