Osho Bhagwan was accused by Shanti Bhadra Jane Stork Jane Stubbs of brainwashing

Stork was 9 years a main member of the ashram. If she really experienced the bad things she describes, why didn't she leave the ashram earlier? If something abusive happens, the normal way is to run away from it and not to participate. Maybe this whole story that Stubbs describes is a FAKE and with that FAKE she tries to tarnish the Osho figure and the Sannyas movement. Maybe her acting in Rajneeshpuram was arranged with Bhagwan (Osho), so he has got a reason to dissolve the commune in RP. To write things down is one thing, to believe what is written is another one. A lot of people of the Osho movement have a glorified picture of Osho in their minds, and if somebody scratches a little bit on that idealized Osho picture, we fight with toes and air to hold on to it. Maybe Stubbs/Stork (Shanti Bhadra) wants with her book "Breaking the Spell: My Life as a Rajneeshee and the Long Journey Back to Freedom" to scratch on that imagined idol Osho.

I do not know enough about Osho as an individual to say he was this or that, but, I will not judge him. I will let him show me what he is and learn what I can from him by listening, not surrendering my mind unto him.

It is the individual’s responsibility to take charge and care of their own mind. Nobody is anybody’s master but their own. If you are not a grounded solid minded individual, then you should not be delving into such things. The same thing goes for psychedelic drugs.
